Listening to Pulp. Jarvis Cocker reminds me of Christopher Walken and I have no idea why.
@gruber Yes. They test melons with their gavels too.
@meyerweb Eric, it is censorship, however, it is also justified since you pay the hosting bills and own the site. It’s your front lawn.
Listening to Dawn & Drew podcast while installing Guild Wars (that’s not as nerdy as it sounds)
“I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they’ve always worked for me.” - Hunter S. Thompson
@lonesoph1st God bless cell phones and Purell antibacterial hand lotion.
For the love of god, will someone please redesign del.icio.us? It’s a goddamned train wreck of web design.
I just saw someone actually using a payphone. I had forgotten those things are still in use.
Had a wonderful evening with my honey. Happy birthday baby.
Drinking port and smoking a stogie on the porch. It’s a mild night in Houston tonight.
@TomWhittaker Grease is the word.
@dlpasco Your secret is safe. Politicians are good at keeping secrets.

What is Startup weekend you might ask? Well according to the website Startup weekend is:
“an intense 54 hour event bringing together brilliant tech minds (developers, designers, marketers, ect.) together to create a company from concept to launch!”
We Houstonians have the opportunity to bring Startup Weekend to Texas by voting on the Startup weekend website. Austin and Dallas are both listed as...

Where were all the steampunk fans when Will Smith was taming the Wild Wild West in the late 90s?

@erinmquinn My hoopty got new tired this past weekend. Dear god, $700 later and the garage didn’t even buy me dinner before my tearful date
@TomWhittaker I’ve had good luck with Dice.com when I hired designers and developers in the past.
@youngamerican Jesse, your deep-seeded hatred of GK is awesome. (This tweet brought to you by Catchup Advisory Board).
Martin Sargent makes me laugh.

I just discovered how amazingly intuitive the new help menu is on the Leopard operating system. I tested it out on FireFox, Mail, and iCal and it works like a charm. You simply begin typing into the help search box and if the answer to your issue is located in another menu, it will open that menu and place a big blue pointer that moves ever-so-slightly to get your attention (just in case you...

I’ve been working on our mobile site a lot lately and found this great FireFox plugin that has helped me a great deal. I’ve spent a lot of time looking at how newspaper sites present their mobile-friendly WAP sites. WAP usability and interface designs are wildly different in comparison to their full-featured main websites.
The tricky thing about investigating mobile sites is that many of them...

@dlpasco the meaning of life in one word: Bacon.
$700 American dollars later, I now have 4 new tires and a burning irritating rash growing around my left rear wallet pocket.
Try and be nice to people, avoid eating fat, read a good book every now and...

Flat tires are SO not cool. DInner at the Firkin & Phoenix wasn’t bad though.
Just saw Cloverfield. Pretty well done. Curious about the ending.

I found this interesting:
Based on a survey of 7,500 MacWorld attendees it looks like Mac fans tend to be immodest, open minded liberals who are assured of their superiority. To put it bluntly.
I don’t recall taking on an air of superiority when I purchased my Mac. In fact, I was completely lost for a couple months after I “made the switch,” wondering how to adjust preferences, change setting...
@dsilverman Headline shoud read “Astrology.com kills newspapers with predictions of bad hair days!”

I installed Skitch this evening and I think I am in love. Seriously.
I haven’t been this impressed with a piece of software since I first played with FireFox.
Skitch is an amazingly intuitive screen capture and image editing application for the Mac. But there’s a twist. Skitch integrates with FTP, SFTP, Flickr, .Mac as well as the iSight camera. You can also post images to the social Skitch...
Signing up for Skitch account. Heard lots of good things about the Mac app.
@dlpasco BB with wifi…sounds cool.
I an almost smell friday from where I’m sitting.
In Apache, MySql, PHP configuration hell. Hair on fire. Eyes shooting laser beams. Teeth crushing glass.

Waiting for the MacBook Shuffle - no screen and it loads apps in a random fashion to keep things interesting.
